From Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust (Prologue In Heaven).. i wish i could tell you who illustrated this piece. It was from a nineteenth century print of the book I had bought as a gift for someone a number of years ago. I was much taken by the magnificent etchings, that I photographed this and a few others.100% cotton
